Poems 2019

For our writing this term we are learning how to create poems / rotarota or creative paragraphs. We get a new hook each day. Here are some of my pieces of writing. We are especially focusing on imagery and using our senses.

100WC Week 2

WALT use a picture prompt to write a story using 100 words.

Hi there my name is Draved I'm currently in my parents private jet.We are going to Sydney . We will be landing soon. Now we have landed I'm going to check in.The first place that we are going to is the Opera house apparently there's 45 colored statues.They all have red faces I can't wait to go see them . We are now on our way to see the Statue.we are renting a Ford ranger for 6 weeks.now we are at the Statues. They are super cool.They feel like wood in 7 more weeks I’m leaving.

THE DAY I HAD TO EAT DEAD PEOPLE'S SKIN AND SCABS One day I went on a plane with 600 hundred people on it . We were going to oban when the pilot said should we go to Antarctica . Everyone said yes . So we went to fly over Antarctica . when we were flying over Antarctica the plane started to drop and drop and uncle boom 30 people survived counting me . There were no food . The next day we were so hungry so we ate the dead peoples skin and scabs they were disgusting but we still ate it . Suddenly someone saved ...

The man who jumped in a swamp

2017, 16  September, Monday, Spring in Pakistan . A man dived into a swamp thinking It was deep but it was shallow .He banged his head on a rock. His child rang the ambulance .They asked how old is he? The child said “He is 28.” He was in a  green swamp . He jumped in because he was burnt by a fire while toasting  his marshmallow.   He went hospital, his heart stopped pumping blood ,his heart stopped pumping . He passed away, the child is now in New Zealand with his mum.  The boy is 8 years old,his father was a fisherman.

The flash

The Flash One day I was walking down a hill . All of a sudden I saw a bright flash . It started to rain. Thunder struck an apple tree .I ran into my house and went under my blankets . I was as scared as a human being chased by a lion . I opened my door and Boom! all my power went out. My lights didn't work in my house . I touched my light switch and got an electric shock . I passed out .When I woke up I felt dizzy .I turned into a robot, went outside and got struck by lighting, I went crazy .

Beyond the Lines

I am a soldier I am going to war with my friend,  brother, and other random people.  I said to them 4 people got shot so this is our last moment together. Huddle up and hope that we don't get shot. The ramp opened . We ran as fast as we could. I saw my friend get shot. I am so sad . I was running and suddenly I heard a bang, my brother got shot to . I thought this would be fun but it is not. Run they're chasing us with a  tank. My dad and mum are probably hearing the gun shots . The sea was full of blood but I survived. At night time we built a trench. Rats were in the trench. When we woke up we ran to the other teams trench. We saw some awful things and only two people survived the Captain and me.

Arctic Circle

WALT Use basic punctuation correctly

I am just 57 years old . I came from  space . I  landed on the arctic circle .  I made  a house  out of my rocket ship . A tree was there . It had a black skinny circle on it . I spun it and an apple grows.  I was  surprised a apple grew.

 A box appeared I decided to touch it. A hole bunch of apples grew .I took a bite of one apple . The box  was going to  share it with my neighbour. I didn’t want to share.  I ran for the box . I got the box .It went through me.  I  took a step . My leg turned into a box . I took another step my other leg turned into a box . This time he tried to jump.  My whole  body turned into a box .  I  was lonely I have no body . I was getting sick  off singing. I just sat there.
