A time I was brave

A time when I was brave was when I got surprised for my birthday to go on a plane . I was so scared because I hate taking off but I love landing . I was going to Sydney,Australia . when we where about to take off, we got a drink of water I almost spilled it on the person next to me.

Spca

The SPCA was founded in England in 1824. The spca inspector and rescue team are on the front line trying to save animals from dying or getting hurt from natural causes or if they are abandoned. For fathers day I made my dad this video and bought him some chocolates. I love my dad.

Fractions 2019

We have been learning about fractions of a set and how to create pictures using fractions this is a work in progress but it is getting easier.

Amazon rain forest

We have been doing lots of information gathering about the fires burning in the amazon rain forest. once we gathered the information we learnt how to create a peace of opinion writing. It was really good to be able  to explain how I felt.

Render forest

We have been learning  how to create animations using render forest . I really enjoyed being able to chose my slides. We are going to learn how to use different parts of render forest watch this space.

Maths

In Pangarau this week we were making 3D shapes out of tooth picks and blue tac. Here is my cube.

Alien Angles

In Pangarau we have been learning about shapes, acute angles, right angles and obtuse angles. Here is a photo of my alien angles.

Switchzoo

We have been doing descriptive writing by making our own zoo animals . We had to use lots of adjectives. My animal is a pig mixed with a dog and deer.

My dream house

We have been learning how to design our dream house. My dream house has two bedrooms two bathrooms and a lounge gym office and kitchen. The feature that I love about my house is it has a football field.

We have had a visitor come in room 3 called matua makaore he has shared the story of kupe me Te wheke a muturangi with us we also learnt how to animate using goggle slides.

Neptune under attack

This week we have been learning how to create a piece of writing using a picture to help us first we had a class brain storm of what the picture was about then we bran stormed some adjectives. finally we started our writing  .







  Hi my name is Draved I'm a firefighter. I was one day watching 1 news live at 6pm. They said there is a fire in Cavers Island on Neptune . I flew to Neptune on my spaceship with my firefighter truck inside . When I had landed I got in my red crimson truck and opened the spaceship doors and off I went in my truck to fight the fire . The fire burned down heaps of trees and caves . I grabbed my hose and wet the land . After I put the fire out I found heaps of dead birds called the sand birds. I walked back to my spaceship . The doors wouldn't open. I had to set camp for the night . I could hear birds crying,flying and more . I fell asleep . I woke up I'm my bed at home in New Zealand I scream ahhhh!!!!.

the lost teddy

 Hi there Im 6 years old and my name is Bubblegear im a teddy . My wonderful owner’s name is Rocky he is 7 and he is very fast . We were one day strolling on the sidepath we sat down on the bench with my mum and dad . The bench was steaming with warmth . We sat there for 15 minutes then he forgot about me and left me on the bench . I fell of the steaming bench . I was sad and cold my red crimson bow was fading . People were standing on me and spitting on me . I was really sad until I saw Rocky . He was looking for me . He was wearing a red crimson bow like me and a tuxedo. He picked me up and ran to him mum and sead. I found Bubblegers . He pounded with excitement . I felt like I was loved again.

100WC Week 2

WALT use a picture prompt to write a story using 100 words.

Hi there my name is Draved I'm currently in my parents private jet.We are going to Sydney . We will be landing soon. Now we have landed I'm going to check in.The first place that we are going to is the Opera house apparently there's 45 colored statues.They all have red faces I can't wait to go see them . We are now on our way to see the Statue.we are renting a Ford ranger for 6 weeks.now we are at the Statues. They are super cool.They feel like wood in 7 more weeks I’m leaving.
